Welcome to the Hill Country Amateur Radio Club’s website.  If you are looking for a club to join or are new to amateur radio, this is the club.  We have over 100 members with diverse backgrounds in amateur radio.  We are affiliated with the American Radio Relay League and have a long standing relationship with the Hill Country Chapter of the American Red Cross.  Our members have conducted educational programs for schools, scouts, and other public organizations.  We regularly provide communications support for public events and are prepared to respond in times of need.  We have experts in emergency communications, DX contesting, radio wave propagation, antenna building, fox hunting, digital communications, etc…  No matter which of the many ham activities peaks your interest, you will find help and guidance from our members.

Join us each Monday night at 07:00 PM CST on VHF (see HCARC Repeater on main page) or if you are out of the area or do not yet have your radio setup join us on EchoLink (N5HR).  Our club meets at the Red Cross building across from the courthouse the first Thursday of each month at 07:00 PM CST.  We hope to see you there.
