The HILL COUNTRY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB has existed for nearly 50 years. Our membership varies around 100. For most of this time we have maintained a repeater covering the Kerrville and surrounding area. Our repeater call changed from N5HR on 146.98 to W3XO on 146.79 in memory of the passing of our long time member Bill Tynan in September 2018. Bill was the past president of AMSAT. You can read more about Bill here.
Recently the city of Kerrville office of emergency management has allowed our club a new location for meetings and a club station. Meeting are the First Thursday 7:00 PM at the historical Union Church, 101 Travis St. Kerrville. This is the point where Travis Street, Broadway, and Water Street all come together. Once you pass San Saba Cap going east on Broadway, look for this building. This is not the same location as the club station.

The Club Station address is 3832 Riverside Drive, which is across the road from Flatrock Park, just to the west of the Hill Country Youth Center. (Look for the tower) This is not the same place as our club meetings. See the picture below.
On the map below, Union Church is at the top right and Club Station is at the lower left.
