The HILL COUNTRY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB has existed for OVER 45 years. Our membership varies around 100. For most of this time we have maintained a repeater covering the Kerrville and surrounding area. We are active in the community and support many activities. We have had a long standing relationship with the Red Cross and continue to do so.
Over the years we have lost some of our members as silent keys. You can click here to see a list of those who have gone ahead of us to eternity. These club members have been a real asset to our club. Some have acted as officers, others as our technical team. There has been a college scholarship which has been set up, and naming of the amateur satellites by our past members.
Our club plans on serving the amateur radio and Texas Hill Country communities throughout the coming years.
